For one of our clients we are searching for a Timekeeper

Job Description:

  • Perform man-hour registration and control according to applicable agreements, regulations and contract.
  • People – number of direct reports and position/org level:
  • Number of direct reports is activity dependent.
  • Responsible for obtaining detailed knowledge of contract and governing documents related to timekeeping activities for registration and control.
  • Responsible for the compliance with the contract, governing documents and cost control information systems.
  • Responsible for man-hour registration according to applicable agreements, regulations and contract.
  • Responsible for monitoring quality of the timesheets.
  • Responsible for initiating and implementing necessary corrective actions to ensure proper time accounting.
  • Responsible for ensuring quality in work plans before man-hour registration.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the correct purchase order (PO) is used for external personnel.
  • Responsible for following-up that all the man-hours are registered in the cost control system.
  • Assist Manager Time and Pay Roll in verifying that all the missing man-hours are in accordance with the work plan.
  • Ensure implementation and follow-up of HSSE requirements and issues within area of responsibility.
  • Quality awareness and continual improvement of work processes, products and on a personal level shall be in focus.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with work hours/salaries or accounting
  • Minimum 2 years of education in economy (can be compensated with relevant practical experience)
  • Precise, great understanding of numbers, solutions oriented, extrovert
  • Good cooperation skills, and have the ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Good communications skills both spoken and written. Knowing Norwegian is a requirement, knowing English is desirable
